PARTNER
James Winterbotham, Partner, 52, was a main Board Director of Lazard from 1995
until 1998 when he established IAP.
After taking an MA in History at Cambridge University and an M Phil at the
Courtauld Institute in London, he joined Lazards London M&A division in 1982,
also spending time in the Fund Management Division and in Lazards Paris
office. From 1993 to 1995 he was based in New Delhi as President of Lazard's
Indian joint venture, managing the emerging M&A business. Among other deals he
put together the sale of the last Indian assets of Union Carbide, a complex and
politically challenging transaction which was then the largest M&A transaction
witnessed in India.

SENIOR ADVISOR
David Anderson, 54, joined IAP as a Senior Advisor in January 2009. David has a
first class degree in Mathematics and Philosophy from Oxford and after 5 years
in the British Army joined Lazard in London in 1983. He became a director in
1990 and managing director in 1997. He ran the Asian business for Lazard in
Singapore from 1998 to 2000 and then joined Vodafone as head of mergers and
acquisitions. He was a managing director at JP Morgan Cazenove in London from
2002 to 2008 with a particular focus on telecoms, media and technology.
