India Advisory Partners was founded in 1998 by James Winterbotham and Kai Taraporevala both of whom had previously worked in investment banking in India and overseas, acting for Indian and international clients. We believe that over a decade of joint experience has given us exceptional insight into conducting business across borders – both into and out of India. Our vision in forming IAP was to create a business that would capitalise on this unique expertise and be dedicated to providing an outstanding level of service to clients.

In 2005, we established India Investment Partners to manage investments into India. Based in London and advised by a team of executives on the ground in Mumbai, IIP applies in the investment field the same philosophy and standards that have contributed to the success of IAP. IIP presently manages the funds of India Capital Growth Fund Limited, a Guernsey registered, AIM listed, closed ended investment company.

As India develops we will continue to grow our business to take advantage of new opportunities and to bring the benefits of these to our advisory and investment clients.
